In 2001, PSA Peugeot Citroen has presented a similar prototype of a battery-FC electric hybrid vehicle. This first prototype was equipped with a PEMFC stack supplied by H-Power Corp.. The advanced 10 kW PEMFC stack developed by Intelligent Energy uses thin metallic bipolar plates and can be started from freezing temperature of -20°C in 2 minutes.
