2009: The station is part of a new cooperation between the City of Hamburg, Daimler, Total, Shell and Vattenfall Europe funded by the Government of Germany within the frame of NIP. Original plans for inauguration until 2014. The Clean Energy Partnership (CEP) is a consortium of several partners, please see www.cleanenerypartnership.de The station is accepted by major car companies.
