Goal
Description
The hydrogen station is used for refuelling the fuel cell powered hybrid bus which began service in the Hartford- New Haven area in April 2007. Construction of a Hydrogen station at the CTTTRANSIT Hartford facility property is underway.

The bus project is funded by the Federal Transit Administration FTA. In an earlier project phase it was forseen to have two buses together with one hydrogen filling station in New Haven. 2011 Future work by NREL: Collecting, analyzing, and reporting on performance • data for next-generation hydrogen-fueled vehicles in service. Part of the Nutmeg project.
