These guidelines are intended to answer specific questions concerning the Pressure Equipment Directive (97/23/EC). They contain a series of documents which are sorted per subject. They contain the opinion of the governmental experts of the member states at the commission and comprise questions which were addressed to this group by the member states. |
The guidelines are not mandatory and are only for information. Although they contain information on questions concerning the directive, they are only intended to provide orientation and help to meet the requirements of the directive. They address manufacturers and notified bodies as well as other interested parties.
