The next deadline for submitting new methodologies is available at UNFCCC.
Since the Kyoto Protocoll was launched many methodologies were submitted, but not all of them met the strict criteria of the Executive Board. Thus it is recommend for prospective project developers to take the guidance for developing new methodologies at UNFCCC into account, or to use an approved methodology, if it’s possible.
Furthermore the probability of getting the approval for the project is much higher with the second method.
