Goal
The goal of the station is to provide the whale watching boat Elding with hydrogen as fuel in connection to the SMART-H2 project. The whole electrical grid on board Elding is driven by a hydrogen fuel cell as an alternative to the conventional diesel aux
Description
The station uses hydrogen produced in the Hydrogen station at Grjótháls Reykjavik. The hydrogen is trucked in using industrial gas bottles which then are connected directly to an automatic cascade refueling device, delivering hydrogen to the boat at 180bar max.
