Comments

This facility is part of the proposed “Midlands Hydrogen Ring” cluster of refuelling stations, of which this is now the second in operation (the other is at the University of Birmingham). Further sites in the region where hydrogen refuelling stations are planned include another university, an airport, a visitor attraction, two vehicle testing centres, logistics centres, a vehicle manufacturer and an office with a hydrogen mini-grid. Links with other regions in the UK will create a network of hydrogen highways.
