Description
|
The station is part of CEP.
Project started January 2009, construction start was April 2009, anticipated start of operation September 2009 (LH2), CGH2 up from May 2010
Concept:
Integration of hydrogen into an existing TOTAL station in central
Berlin.
CGH2:
Pressure electrolysis plant by Hydrogen Technologies (a Statoil
subsidiary)
- Dry-running piston compressor (500 bar) by Andreas HOFER
Hochdrucktechnik in cooperation with Statoil
- Booster compressor (1000 bar) by Andreas HOFER Hochdrucktechnik
in cooperation with Statoil
- Underground cascade storage system of composite cylinders,
developed by Statoil
LH2:
Linde supplies LH2 from the liquefication plant in Leuna. From autumn 2010 up a part of the LH2 will be produced from a waste product in the Biodiesel procuction.
- Usage of LH2 tank and pump from previous station Berlin, Messedamm
- Boil-off management by means of Mini-BHKW
- Usage of´all tail gases with the help of new boil-off installation
- fully automated automotive coupling with a mechanical handling aid
In addition, the filling station is equipped with two stationary hydrogen fuel cells ( Axane Fuel Cell Systems, Electro Power Systems) using the boil-off from stored liquide hydrogen to generate warmth respectively electricity. The electricity is fed into the local grid, whereas the warmth is used to support the heating system of the station. There is also a Photovoltaik system.
Since spring 2012 "Wind H2" delivery from Prenzlau
