Goal
Description
Japans first public CGH2 and MH2 refueliling station was opened for the PEMFC Vehicle Demonstration by WE-NET and is available to any automobile manufactor to demonstrate to the public how hydrogen powered vehicles may be served in the future. 24 to 30 filling operations per day are possible, each one taking only less than five minutes if the vehicle has a pressure tank and less than ten minutes for metal hydride storage tanks.

Comments

The station was part of the WE-NET project and was the first refueling station in Japan. From March 2012 Osaka Gas participates in the Area Hydrogen Supply Infrastructure Technology and Social Demonstration Project implemented by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) as a member of The Research Association of Hydrogen Supply/Utilization Technology (HySUT)
