The station is funded by the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology within the 863 program.
This is a cooperation project of UNDP/GEF and China Most.
The filling station is part of a eight-year, 2-phased project funded by the UN. Phase I (started in 2004) launched three fuel cell buses and a filling station in Beijing.
Phase II (starts in late 2006) will launch three additional fuel cell buses and a filling station in Shanghai.
