DaimlerChrysler plans to spent $1.4 billion on FC technology development until the planned market introduction of FC vehicles in 2004. This is comparable with the cost of the market introduction of a vehicle model-series like Chrysler 300M, Chrysler Concorde, Chrysler LHS and Doge Intrepid for example.
