The Seicento Elettra H2 Fuel Cell is the result of a co-operation between Fiat Auto and the Italian Ministry for Environmental Affairs. Financed by both parties, the Elettra H2 Fuel Cell project has been developed by Fiat's Research Centre (Centro Ricerche Fiat). The Elettra H2 Fuel Cell represents the conclusion of the first phase of this project which commenced in December 1999.
