Die äußerst ernsten Vorfälle im japanischen Kernkraftwerk Fukushima waren gekennzeichnet von mehreren Wasserstoffexplosionen. Vier Reaktorblöcke sind bisher dadurch schwer beschädigt worden.
Der DWV hält es für wichtig, zur Information darüber beizutragen, wo dieser Wasserstoff herkam, wo er nicht herkam und wie es zu den Explosionen kam.
