German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health - Betriebssicherheitsverordnung (BetrSichV)
With the coming into effect of the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (Betriebssicherheitsverordnung, BetrSichV), the responsibility of employers to ensure the health and safety of their workforce has also increased. While this enhances entrepreneurial freedom, on the other hand it also places employers under an obligation to specifically implement the provisions of the BetrSichV.
Hazards must be assessed, installations tested and inspected, inspection intervals identified, work equipment documented and employees trained.
